Campervan Rentals in Concord, NH

Pick up a GM2 van near Lebanon and Hanover for flexible road trips through NH, VT and beyond.

Your Upper Valley Basecamp for Vanlife

Plainfield is a natural starting point for a campervan trip because it sits in one of New England's most flexible travel regions. From this quiet New Hampshire town, renters can head north toward Hanover, Lebanon, and the Connecticut River Valley, wander west into Vermont, or point the van south toward Lake Sunapee, Cornish, Claremont, and the scenic backroads that make this part of New England feel made for slow travel.

The Plainfield location is designed for travelers who want the comfort of a home-away-from-home without being locked into a hotel, a single campground, or a complicated RV. Whether you are planning a Dartmouth weekend, a Lake Sunapee escape, a leaf-peeping route through Vermont, a music festival, or a first campervan trip with the kids, Glamp Mobile gives you a polished GM2 van, renter onboarding, and support before you hit the road.

This location is owned by Jon and Deb Scott, whose camping, hospitality, and road-trip instincts fit the Glamp Mobile model naturally. Their goal is simple: help renters feel oriented, welcomed, and ready to enjoy the kind of travel they have always loved themselves - flexible, comfortable, and a little more connected to the places they visit.

Meet Jon and Deb Scott

Jon and Deb bring a genuine local-host feel to the Plainfield location. This is not just a vehicle handoff; it is a chance to rent from people who understand why travelers want comfort, independence, and a little adventure built into the same trip.

Jon Scott

Jon has always had a serious outdoor streak. In his younger days, he was a committed mountain and ice climber, with adventures that included summiting Mount Denali in Alaska. The frisbee he threw from the summit is still proudly displayed at home - the kind of detail that tells you adventure has never just been a passing interest for him.

As a host, Jon brings that same practical, steady approach to helping renters get comfortable with the van. He understands gear, preparation, and the difference between feeling intimidated by an adventure and feeling ready for it.

Deb Scott

Deb grew up camping in just about every form: tents, truck campers, tow-behinds, and family trips that made outdoor travel feel normal. Hospitality runs deep for her, too. Her mother owned and operated the Pinehurst Inn in Hershey, Pennsylvania, named after Deb's father's favorite golf course. After selling the inn, Deb's mother toured the country in a big Class A motorhome.

Deb has long wanted a camper she could comfortably take out on her own - especially now that she is mostly retired from medicine, except when a medical mission trip calls her somewhere warm. The GM2 finally gave her the flexibility she wanted: easy to drive, self-contained, and usable beyond the campground.

Why They Chose Glamp Mobile

Jon and Deb have always liked travel that feels more embedded than a hotel stay. They often choose condos when they travel because Jon can cook, they can settle in, and the trip feels more like living somewhere than simply passing through. They had also been interested in vacation-rental-style real estate investment, but the cost and commitment always felt a little intimidating.

After years of hearing about their son James's Glamp Mobile business - and after an ill-fated fling with a 1970s-era VW Westfalia Vanagon pop-top - Jon and Deb took the leap in spring 2026 with a GM2 Ram Promaster-based rig. In their first year, they plan to use it for music festivals, extra family housing at the lake camp in Tuftonboro, and camping with their grandkids. When they are not using it, the van can help other travelers discover the Upper Valley and beyond.

Why Start Your Trip in Plainfield?

Upper Valley Access Without Hotel Friction

Plainfield gives you the flexibility to visit the Upper Valley without planning your whole trip around a hotel room. Pick up the van, stock the fridge, and choose your route around Hanover, Lebanon, Vermont, Lake Sunapee, or wherever the weekend points you.

A Great Fit for First-Time Campervan Renters

The GM2 is built to feel more approachable than a traditional RV or trailer. You get a self-contained travel setup, but with a driving experience that feels manageable for couples, families, and renters who are new to vanlife.

Hosted by People Who Actually Camp

Jon and Deb are not just handing over keys. Their own history with climbing, camping, motorhomes, tow-behinds, hospitality, and family travel helps make the rental experience feel more personal and grounded.

A Launch Point for NH and VT Adventures

From Plainfield, renters can build trips around the Connecticut River, Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park, Dartmouth, Lake Sunapee, Quechee, Woodstock, the White Mountains, or a longer New England road trip.

Meet the GM2 Van

The Plainfield location features a GM2 van: a Ram Promaster-based campervan designed around comfort, simplicity, and renter confidence. It is the kind of rig that can work for a weekend away, a festival, a family visit, a campground stay, or a longer road trip where flexibility matters.

  • Self-contained layout with onboard bathroom, water, kitchenette, and sleeping space.
  • Comfortable for travelers who want more convenience than tent camping without the bulk of a large motorhome.
